Kira is the owner and director of speech-language pathology and educational programs at Super Kids Speech. She has a passion for working with young children as well as helping families navigate and understand speech-language acquisition through the lens of early childhood development and its many intricacies. Kira's 15 years of working with young children, first as an early childhood educator then as a school speech therapist, has given her a unique perspective to be able to create intervention strategies that service the "whole child". This perspective is the core of the Super Kids philosophy. Being an experienced school district educator and therapist, Kira has a wealth of knowledge that she can share with parents to help them maneuver through the sometimes complicated process of getting special services in the school setting. She is also a coordinate bilingual (English/Spanish), who is well versed in bilingual language development and communication disorders. She is a wife and mother who is a strong proponent for family collaboration and participation in student's education and therapeutic intervention.
Kira received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University, a Preschool-Third Grade teacher certification at William Paterson University and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University.
